MySpace, Facebook Still On Top
If MySpace were to lose its top spot among social networks, it’d have a long way to fall. Though US visits to the powerhouse were down five percent since last year, MySpace still commanded nearly 74% of the social networking market, according to Hitwise.

Anheuser-Busch, National Fatherhood Initiative Launch Online Forum for Parents on MySpace
While there is no instruction manual for raising teens, parents now have the benefit of learning from each other about how to help prevent underage drinking via a new online resource. CYRUS DISMISSES SCANDAL OVER ‘RACY’ MYSPACE PICTURES
MILEY CYRUS has dismissed controversy surrounding saucy internet pictures in which she flashes her underwear - insisting they were harmless and she isn’t sorry.
In the candid snaps, the Hannah Montana singer/actress is shown smiling at the camera wearing a black crop-top and pants as she stretches out across an unknown boy’s lap. (more…)

In parenthood, sometimes a blog is born
Mena Trott was in labor for 32 hours last fall before giving birth to a baby girl. To take her mind off the pain and pass the time, she walked around the hospital, listened to music - and blogged.
Using her cell phone, she posted pictures from the hospital. In the final hours, she had to dictate her last post, which detailed how much she hurt at the time. Two hours after the birth, she and her husband, Ben, published photographs of their new arrival on their blogs and announced the name of their baby girl, Penelope. (more…)

Who Needs Another Social Network?
When it comes to becoming a force in social networks, Google and Yahoo have tried and largely failed. To be sure, Google has Orkut, which is popular in Brazil and the Philippines India, but not the United States. For its part, Yahoo has largely pulled the plug on Yahoo 360. But it is clear that MySpace and Facebook (and Bebo in the United Kingdom) remain firmly on top of the social network heap. (more…)

MySpace Helps Reunite Siblings
A special airport reunion on Friday brought some good news to two Jacksonville women who said they spent years looking for their long lost brother and sister. After 13 years of searching, the women finally found their twin siblings on MySpace. Jenesa Ojeda and her sister were reunited with their long lost siblings, Eric and Erica, for the first time in 18 years. “I am shocked and relieved and happy and emotional — every kind of emotion you can feel pretty much,” said Ojeda said.
